See how doing a two-page spread on a landscape book cuts off a lot of the photo? I love two page spreads because it gives so much impact to a single photo and really highlights it. I make a lot of landscape oriented photo books, but as you can see from the two examples above, the portrait format lends itself much better to a two-page spread.
